About ShieldMee Inc.
ShieldMee Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing telehealth mental health services throughout the state of Florida. Clinical services are provided by Eduardo Florez, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC #MH23066), licensed in the state of Florida. All sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. Clients must be physically located in the state of Florida during sessions.

The personality assessment and clinical career assessment available on this website are educational tools based on published psychological research. They are not diagnostic instruments. Results are generated entirely within your browser and are not stored, transmitted, or reviewed by ShieldMee Inc. These assessments are not a substitute for clinical evaluation by a licensed professional.
Crisis Disclaimer
ShieldMee Inc. is not a crisis center and does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency — including thoughts of harming yourself or others — do not use this website or contact form.

Appointments and Cancellations
Insurance clients book through Headway at care.headway.co. Appointment scheduling, cancellation, and payment policies for insurance clients are governed by Headway’s terms and your insurance plan.
Private-pay clients book through SimplePractice. Session fees are $158 for individual therapy and $188 for couples and family therapy. Cancellation policies are outlined in the informed consent documentation provided during intake.
No-show and late cancellation fees may apply as described in your intake paperwork. ShieldMee Inc. reserves the right to terminate services for repeated no-shows in accordance with clinical and ethical guidelines.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged through insurance. ShieldMee Inc. accepts insurance through Headway and private pay through SimplePractice. You are responsible for verifying your insurance coverage and understanding your financial obligations, including copays, deductibles, and out-of-network costs.
Telehealth Consent
All services are delivered via telehealth. By booking a session, you acknowledge that telehealth involves the use of electronic communications to provide clinical services at a distance. You understand that telehealth has potential benefits including convenience and accessibility, and potential risks including technology failures and limitations of non-in-person interaction. You have the right to withdraw consent and discontinue telehealth services at any time.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, assessments, and the ShieldMee name and brand — is the property of ShieldMee Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from this content without written permission from ShieldMee Inc. Participation in AI-assisted documentation is voluntary and does not affect the quality of care. Complete details are provided before any AI tools are used in your treatment.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising from your use of this website or clinical services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Martin County, Florida.
